Meet J. W. Skinner
John is a writer who lives in Texas with his wife Carrie, their 4 children who are grown and living their own lives and two dogs, Gizmo and Copper
He writes stories about people who are trying to find their way back to themselves - after loss, after silence, after the kind of grief that doesn't announce itself but simply becomes the weather of your days.
The Anchor and the Tide is his debut novel, it was written in the quiet hours, for anyone who has ever had to learn the difference between surviving something and actually living again.
He is already working on his next novel.
